1. Preparation and Safety Gear
Ensure you have insulated screwdrivers, a non-contact voltage tester, a flashlight, safety glasses, and rubber-soled shoes.
2. Shutting Down the Main Power
Locate the Main Breaker and flip it to the “OFF” position. Note that wires coming from the utility are still live—never touch them.
3. Verify the Power is Off
